Modeling
	UFO (UV sphere, scale Shift+Z 10, scale 0.5, edge mode, select third edge on bottom, Mesh > Edge Loop, grab Z -0.25)
	Cockpit (UV sphere, scale 1.5)
	Energy Beam (cone, Operator Depth: 1.5, grab z -3, scale 1.5) (enable wireframe mode, Z)
	Select cockpit, shift select ufo, ctrl+j - join
	select cone, shift sel ufo, ctrl+p make parent
	Planet (ico sphere, scale 8x, grab z -8)
	Select all (aa), Shading: Smooth
	Select ufo, modifiers, add > subdivision surface
	repeat with planet
	Camera view (NUM 0), select lamp, move to left, select camera, move as desired

Materials
	1-Materials.blend
	UFO (Enable Mirror tab, Reflectivity 0.75, Gloss 0.9)
	Energy Beam (Volume, Emission 0.5, Emission color (0,1,0), Integration > Step Calculation = 0.1)

Texture
	2-Textures.blend
	Planet, edit mode, select top half, U > Sphere Projection, go to UV Editing screen, select image, scale, back to default, New Material (specular (0.5,0.2,0)), new Texture (Image or Movie), select image, Mapping > Coordinates = UV, Geometry: Normal = -3

Animation
	3-Animation.blend
	Change to Animation screen
	Frame 1: NUM 0 camera view - Move UFO off-scene, Insert key Loc
	Frame 50: Move UFO to camera top section, Insert key Loc.
	Frame 60: Select cone, materials context, mouse over Density, set to 0, press I
	Frame 80: Set Density to 1, press I
	Set End frame to 100
	Alt+A to preview

Lighting
	4-Lighting.blend
	Change Lamp to Sun in Lamp context, rotate to aim (Z 120), Col (0.6,0.7,1)
	World context - enable AO, 0.10, Add

Render
	5-Render.blend
	World context - enable Stars (size 0.2, dist 5), Horizon color (0,0,0)
	Change frame to 50 for final image, camera view NUM 0, Up res? 1200x900?
	Switch to Compositing screen, Use Nodes, bottom left Select Render Result image viewer
	Shift+A, Distort, Lens Distortion, Distort: -0.025, Dispersion: 0.1
